2010 BRITISH ELECTION RESULTS

I am posting this blog from home as it's a lot easier to watch election results on my own computer rather than sit in the office and essentially get no work done. Better to just throw in the towel for the day and blog about the UK election, because that's what I am watching right now. Those of you interested in watching live election results from the UK can see the BBC coverage live here. Also, the Sky News feed can be found on Fox News's website here.

Already the first result has been declared from the constituency of Houghton and Sunderland South, which has held up its reputation as the fastest vote-count in the country. The exit poll came out just over an hour ago predicting a Hung Parliament with the Conservatives with the largest number of seats, currently estimated at 305 -- but I notice the British TV networks aren't taking the exit poll too seriously and are waiting for actual results.

Also there are plenty of reports of voters being turned away because the polls were closed right at 10pm, so a lot of people are mad about that.

It's actually been a wild day in international news. There was a huge drop on Wall Street today, all apparently caused by one fool who punched in the wrong numbers in some trade he did. And there are still riots going on in Greece over the economic mess there. Things are wild all over.
