A tentative settlement to the writers strike is going to be presented to the writers today in meetings in New York and tonight in LA.
Some writers are blogging about their plans to attend the big LA meeting. Ken Levine says he will be at the big meeting, and so is Mark Evanier. Craig Mazin will not be there, but says he will be there in spirit. John August says the feeling from writers is that the end of the strike is approaching.
All I know is it won't be over until the fat lady sings -- and on that note, the writers were out in force picketing Disney the other day. (The picture, however, shows them picketing NBC. Hey, I had to put up something.)
If we believe Nikki Finke, these meetings could be contentious -- seems this is not exactly a deal that writers are going to be jumping for joy over. But we'll see what the members say.
